How do I calculate a percentage discount?
Multiply the original price by the discount percentage, then divide by 100. That gives you the discount amount. Subtract from the original price to get the sale price.
How do I find the original price from a discounted price?
Divide the sale price by (1 - discount%/100). For example, if an item is $75 after 25% off: $75 ÷ 0.75 = $100 original price.
How do I calculate multiple discounts?
